Our Passion

Welcome to Sugar And Scribe, a full-service breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant with an in-house bakery located in the heart of La Jolla. Owned by Food Network Champion, Maeve Rochford, we specialize in inventive, scratch-made savory and sweet items ranging from benedicts, salads, and sandwiches to pancakes and custom mimosas. We tip our hat to our roots with a full Irish breakfast, Emerald Isles waffles, and classic baked goods that have earned us accolades as one of the Best Brunches by Yelp, San Diego Magazine, and more.
