Our Passion
Welcome to Sugar And Scribe, a full-service restaurant with an in-house bakery located in the heart of La Jolla. Owned by Food Network Champion, Maeve Rochford, we specialize in inventive, scratch-made savory and sweet items ranging from benedicts, salads, and sandwiches to pancakes and custom mimosas. We tip our hat to our roots with a full Irish breakfast, Emerald Isles waffles, and classic baked goods that have earned us accolades as one of the best brunches in the state by Yelp, San Diego Magazine, and others.
