Coffee Cake is the perfect food. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a delicious dessert after dinner. Make one this weekend and your friends will swoon. So here’s how you make the perfect coffee cake using my all-time favorite recipe. Follow along with my instructional video.

- 12 oz Salted Butter (Room Temperature)
- 1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Buttermilk
Now let’s get started!
Pre-heat oven to 350
Step 1: Cream together butter & sugar
Step 2: Add in eggs, one at a time
Step 3: Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda in separate bowl
Step 4: Rotate adding flour mixture and buttermilk until combined
Step 5: Add vanilla extract
Step 6: Pour into 10″ greased Bundt pan
Step 7: Cover the top with cinnamon sugar (Optional)
Step 8: Bake at 350o for 45 minutes – check for doneness with a wooden skewer. It shouldn’t stick at any given point. If it does, you need to bake it a few more minutes.
Step 9: Let cool and serve
