Breakfast Bar


The balance of sweet and salty flavors in my breakfast bars makes them one of my favorite choices for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. The almonds give them the perfect amount of crunch. Trust me, you have to try them!


  • Graham cracker crust or shortbread crust for base
  • 3/4 cups diced dried apricot
  • 1/3 cup diced dried figs
  • 1/3 cup diced dried cherries
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 oz butter
  • 2 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Now Let’s Get Started:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Step #1: Add your choice of base to a 10” square baking pan
Step #2: Combine ingredients into a pot on the stove and bring to low boil
Step #3: Pour melted toppings over the base crust
Step #4: Bake for 7 minutes at 350 degrees
Step #5: Let the bars set over night
Step #6: Portion out the bars into 2"x2" squares in the morning
