On-Hand for the Holidays: Chutney


It happens every holiday - unexpected guests. So as a chef who loves to feed her guests, I always have my homemade on-hand.

My tip and trick:

I make a huge vat of my favorite chutney, cranberry pear chutney, and freeze it in a cupcake tray. This gives me perfect individual portions that I can take out and use as needed. I use it as a side dish, pour it on top of pork or turkey, serve it warm on top of ice cream, and even emulsify and freeze it for a great sorbet.
